We are now training fall Manus Mentors for Project Manus!
We are looking for enthusiastic students, faculty and staff who want to help create vibrant making culture in The Deep and Metropolis makerspaces. Advanced making skills are not required, but you should have some experience working in shops and using tools. Students who stay engaged over time will both broaden their capabilities and develop a specialty.
Our mentors train hundreds of first year students in MakerLodge and many other MIT students, faculty, and staff in The Deep and Metropolis! Each Mentor commits 4 hours every week – 2 hours running training and 2 hours keeping the shop open, helping other students and performing basic shop maintenance tasks.
